AGP problem thingy

So I start the game and before it gets to the screen where it asks for account and password I get a popup about the game saying the following:

The game may not be consistant because AGP is deactivated. Please activate AGP for consistancy.




I ahve no idea what that meant and I only got it starting C3....

i get the same error, i just click "ok" and it goes away. although my client crashes after i pick my toon and hit start, it loads everything then as soon as i hear in game noise and see a screen for like half of a second i get a error and crash.

I had the same message but it didnt affect my game afaik.

I had the same error but i fixed it, basically you don't have the AGP bus drivers installed. Go to your motherboard manufactors website and download and install the latest drivers that should fix the problem. Also if you look in your Video Card properties you'll notice you are running 0x AGP lol.

I have the same error, but its on my laptop...

seems ppl haven't had problems with it... so i dunno:def_swt:

laptops will almost always get this error, unless you are using one of the high end GPUs found on desktop replacement portables.

it basically means you are using software rendering instead of hardware, which is bad imo.

you will see this message if you have no AGP/PCIX card and have integrated video.

This will also occur if the display adapter, AGP/PCIX isnt functioning properly either at the video driver level or the motherboard agp drivers. IE if you have VIA chipset, do VIA 4in1 driver package. SIS, install GART package... i havnt seen this occur with a nvidia or Intel chipset board, but i dont claim to have seen it all

i have a compac presario v4000 and i have the same problem how can i activade the agp on my laptop

I have noticed tons of lag since server transfers.

i had the same promblem for a year and more, and i find the solution yesterday.
my motherboard had nvidia chipset and my graphic card is ATI Radeon.
i download the chipset drivers i install them and after i found a file named patchAGP. i run it and after that the message dissapeared. i run l2 many times and after restarting my computer to see if its ok.
i never seen that message again and the game now run faster.for more details or if u need some help send me a message,reply to this forum or send me an email to karolos_biliotis@hotmail.com
