Hey guy's, ive been reading alot of threads on issues with Vista, with alot of diffrent methods to solve these problems. I myself have not been able to fix my issue, so i figured, why not bring all the solutions/methods too one thread.

Soon enough everyone will be using Vista, and Ncsoft will have no choice but to release some kind of smooth transition, but till that time...

right click lineage2.exe and run it as an admin

set account control too ' off '.

right click lineage2.exe and set too previous version. (Win 2000)

None of these have solved my issue, =/ .. but im hoping there's other methods out there that might help...

The errors messages desapeared but I still can't log in the game... I install Interlude PTS for test, but I have same problem. After the splash screen, the game stop on a black screen with the Lineage 2 mouse cursor.

I installed the lasted Nvidia driver for Vista (100.65_winvista_32bit_international).

PLEASE!!!! Someone can help me???

Nvidia Drivers for vista just sux.

I had problems with l2 : opening l2 for the first time gives you an error .. without closing the error window you start a second client by running l2 through the system folder , ones the second client starts (this one starts without an error) you closing the error window form the first client (this one kill the first client too) and you can play like you did

All of this problems does not exist any longer after the latest update , it waz just a stupid gameguard problem , a compatibility issue with vista..

After all dont expect good gaming performance in l2 + vista if you have an Nvidia based card (to make my self clear: nvidia vga nvidia chipset isnt a problem) cause their drivers are still shity as hell and buggy, on the other hand ATi Drivers roxor on Vista (Except the FireGL model) like they did in Windows Xp

I have an ATi 1950 pro (not overclocked) + e 6600 2.4Ghz @ 3.850 Ghz and playing l2 with full details shadows etc... at a resolution of 1680 X 1050 (22" wide Display) without frame drops even in sieges :)

Hope i helped a bit Good luck

Well, since alot of ppl have problems with vista using 64bit and c6 isnt live yet, id suggest waiting, and hope that it works as pts does right now

I've tested Vista Ultimate at my friend, and he has a slower PC, compared to my PC. I managed to load 1 box, but when i was loading the second one i got a option.ini error... tried different methods but none worked - maybe cuz the PC is way more crappyer then mine, i'm gonna see that tomorow.

We loaded c5, not pts :(
