restarting problem

after the new patch on 6-3-2007 i am facing some problems with my pc.
as soon as i press the start button
my computer reboots
this happens only in l2
the pc was working properly before but despite of that i tried to replace every single hardware part just incase...

i havent install any other apllication or changed something in the configuration
so gudging by that i can assume that the new patch is responsible for this behaviour
my pcs configuration is:
chipset intel springdale i865(E)
agp video ati radeon 9600
cpu intel pentium 4HT 3000 mhz
motherboard QDI P41848P
i just meke a clean entry of windows xp pro with sp2 and update all drivers and again reboots
i run an lineage2 c5 cliend before 6-3-2007 patch and runn verry well.if i runn cliend with 6-3-2007 pach my pc reboots every time i run the cliend.
in all other games i put on it my pc is super something gone rong with this pach in 6-3-2007 if anyone know a solution plz help

randomly I could happen to log in, and it is only one over 100 tries or so...
Maybe try to log after restarting a rested computer (not on for a night or so), and if u can, just delog and stay on login screen, never exit the game againnnnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm having similar problems. my computer just shuts off and starts back up again when i run L2. this just recently started happening

I have this problem as well. However it seems to happen only when i try to 2 or 3 box on the same PC.

My guess is it has something to do with memory, I have not found a way to fix it yet, anyone else any luck?

my pc used to restart when i ran l2 for over 5 minutes. problem was there was loads of dust in my fan on my gfx card, making it overheat, and thus shut down. try something like that.
