L2 & 64bit CPU & WinXP 64bit

So I just got an upgrade to my current PC and apart from the obvious performance increases I can expect from having more memory, a better GFX card and a faster processor, is there any specific performance increase I can expect to feel in L2 if I install Windows XP 64bit rather than the normal 32bit? If so how would it manifest itself?

when it worked, i found it slower. now it doesnt even work anymore
