As of about 4 days ago my internet will intermittently disconnect for about a second or so and then automatically re-connect, but it d/c's me from the game everytime and it is making it very difficult to play. We have 4 computers running in my house, 3 of which are connected to the internet through a wireless Linksys router which is hooked up to the 4th computer (which is directly connected to the cable internet and doesn't have any d/c issues). All 3 of the other computers are having this issue, any suggestions on what may fix it? And yes I have restarted the modem/router many times with no luck. Contacted internet provider, no luck there really either.:hf_cry2:

1. You need to update your firmware in regards to your router at least twice a year.
2. Have you had any power surges?
3. I was having the same problem and ended up replacing my cable modem/router a year ago, haven't had any problems since then.

I think the most likely solution would be to update, I can just do that off of the Linksys site right? We just replaced the router about a month ago and it's been fine until about 4 days ago. So then we also replaced the modem, but the issue remains... Fuck internet! lol

1. You will need to find the fireware update and then download it.
2. Go into your UserGuide PDF and there is a 92.something ISP that you will need to go to. This will be the admin part for your router, you will need your admin password to get in. Once you are in just follow the directions and you are done.

same problem here, since interlude, the router shuts down random internet applications, i think there is a kind of protocol interlude uses that activates the firewall

Get rid of the stupid wireless router and hard wire the house. Problem solved. Also wireles routers do not like going up or down through floors either.
