I haven't logged in the game for a couple weeks, so today when I tried to run L2 the 1st scrren (the automatic update screen ) opens up. I click start, then the lil L2 banner shows up like normal. after a couple seconds it goes away like normal but this time the actual game wont open up at all. I ran check file and nothing happened :(

hmm i only get that if a client crit errors and i try to open another before it has unloaded from memory, not sure what could clear this up, tryed restrating your comp and running l2.exe rather than lineage2.exe??

I've tried the l2.exe already and my computer has been restarted, I even did a system restore. I cant find my L2 cd's I was gonna try to re-install it >< I'll keep looking tho.

Don't need CDs to install it. Can just download the game at lineage2.com.

have you tried flushing your dns resolver cache i know that it usually works for unable to connect to the update server but if you are having problems connecting to the main login server it is worth a shot. just go to a command line and type

ipconfig /flushdns
