Nostromo n52 SpeedPad

Minutes after I installed my n52 yesterday and logged into L2, I noticed something different on my hotbar, I click it and this is what happened:http://img91.imageshack.us/my.php?image=shot00045yo2.jpg

Does L2 actually support the n52 in-game?

n52 has to change some files to work, this is one of the things it does. It is also tracable on NCsofts side. I know a lot of people who use this program and have for a while, but there has been a couple banned for it.

Wow, banned for using something they said we're allowed to use? NCSoft can't get any dumber can they?

At one point they said it was allowed. Just like at one point HGMspam said "L2NA would never ever get gameguard".

Fyi, noticed these posts on the official forums and in short if you go afk while
using them you can get banned just like with walker.

The GM team let me know that they recommend refraining from using
any hardware or software that allows you to automate your game play
beyond the in-game macro system. Please contact the GM team through
the web site if you have more specific questions. Thanks!


Confirmed by HGM Spam & GM Cykor:

The Nostromo SpeedPad is not considered in violation of our rules,
unless it is used to automate actions for your character when you
are away from the keyboard. Using it to repeat shouts and/or crafts
while you are not present is considered 3rd party software use and
is against our rules. As long as you are present at the keyboard
while using the joystick functions, you are safe and within the rules.

nice. i personally like how the hotbars are looking :)

but as far as the gamepad goes, you are allowed to use it, as long as you arent AFK from your machine while using the device. (but ofcourse there is always a grey line even in this scenario).

wow, i didnt no we can edit lineage 2 interface?? crazy..

is there a forum dedicated to this??

its just l2 support for gamepads. is whats you were seeing. been like that for awhile, but if you've never used a gamepad. you wouldn't ever seen it.
