Well heres my problem. A week i ago i have 2 lineage 2 clients up and running on my computer and my brother decided to pull the internet plug out. Both clients DCed but this time my cusor wouldnt move on the screen or anything.

So i restarted the computer. Loaded it up like normal and everything seemed ok. Untill i get onto the desktop, does matter what i do or anything after a min or so it will crash/freeze. This kept happing. So i decided to reboot the whole computer and reinstall windows. I get to the desktop and it doesnt crash/freeze so i thought great!.

Started to install the windows update and stuff. Installed the mother board drivers (yes the same CD ive been using for the last 2 years with this computer) and when i restarted after installing the mother board drivers. It will go back to crashing/freezing when i go to the desktop.

The computer will do this if i dont install any drivers. The computer works fine in safe mode with internet too.

My computer specs are :
AMD Althlon 64 Processor 3500+
2.21 GHz
1.00 GB of RAM

Please help me guys. My computer has been like this for over a week now. Thanks in advance.

Are you sure when your brother pull out the LAN line he didnt pull on anything else? Also make sure he didnt mess up any pins on your LAN card, humm can you tell me if you get a blue screen of death and what crash codes you get. If any. Need a little more info here, I am thinking its something to do with your LAN Hardware, When you load in safe mode and before you load your mobo drivers your LAN Hardware is prob disabled.

Well its not a crash then its a freeze. Thanks for clearing that part up :). Well my computer runs on windows XP home edition and it will load pass the blue screen and it wil go onto the desktop like normal. But after like one min or more of being on the desktop (i can use like anything in that time or dont do anything) and it will freeze.

No error will come up for crash codes. Oh and we use a routor to share our internets but we all use cables to connect to it. So what he did was he pulled out the power cable from the routor.

If you need anymore info, please do so and ask.

Thanks for your reply :)
