Strange connection lag & High Pings

I am as of yesterday receiving extremely high lag on the teon server. My ping connecting to the server is only 54 and im use to having no lag atol whatsoever.

My ping on ventrilo is staying usually standard at 100-190 but very so often is sky rocketing up to 5500 - 6600 and then shooting back down to 100.

The lag im receiving in game is the kind where everyone stops moving and then 60 seconds later everyone speeds up. It is NOT graphic lag.

I have tried resetting my modem, renewing my IP, everything and nothing solves the problem.

The lag started after i attempted to download a torrent. Im thinking maybe it could be spyware but im not sure ?

Im having horrible lag too on Franz and Teon. No lag at all on the other servers. Its the lag when I click somehwere I start to move towards that point after 5 seconds or longer.
Ive had contact with NC support and they helped me through all kinds of things like resetting the router, disconnecting the internet from the router, setting my antivirus to allow the ports etc. But it had no effect on the lag. My ping went from 20 to 160 on Franz and Teon. But I was experiencing the lag already when my ping was 20 so...

NC support told me this lag usually has something to do with the way my homenetwork is set up. But all their solutions had no effect, so I too am still waiting for a working solution.

Already talked with ISP provider, everything is ok, already made several tests, bla bla bla...everything works fine, except l2.

guess all we can do is wait till either NC soft fixes it (if they cause the problem)
or till the damaged parts or w/e will be fixed (if its caused by last weeks' storm in germany)

i cant move, open map i have like 10k ping in game, but on vent 30, all my friends from Poland have similar problem...
