I saw a screen shot and it looked very nice, the person said they had glow effect on. I went to options on my computer and found glow effect, but it was colored grey where i couldn't check the box? How can I turn glow effect on? Help anyone, thank you.

grrr you have to have a real good computer i think, thats what someone said to my other post, but wtf is a good computer cmon someone that has glow effect could you give your comp specs? i want glow effect!!!! graphics are 10x better with it on, please help someone

glow effect only seem to make everything smoother to me, or u can say make it look more blurly, nothing much

my comp specs 3.2ghz overclocked 1gig ram (type forgotten) 128mb vid card (ATI 9800 All in wonder or sumthin to that effect) and I can run max setting 4x aliasing np even during sieges and raids olny probs i ever have is isp based ><. With the ability to select the glow option though only time I've ever seen it greyed out is when I have lower detail on which is what my wifes computer run l2 on b/c it's a old not so good comp ><, but if I have lower detail off I still can turn on glow effect even though the computer isn't that good.

So the jist is I'm dumb and can't help you ><.

i got this aswell. but i figured it was because i was on a laptop. with a not very good gfx card.

Its probably becuase the game thinks that your gfx card does not support that function (sometimes those things are wired into cards to take load off gpu), if you think you should run it, try updating drivers.

4. A glow effect option was added to the graphic options. This is enabled when a user's graphic card supports Shader 2.0 or above.

that was taken from the official site under some of the new stuff c3 brought to the game i didn't feel the need to copy the whole list. basically if your graphics card doesn't support the "Shader 2.0" or better u have no glow effect option and thats why it's greyed out. If u do however then yet again I don't know.
