Melee classes in pve/pvp

Well you can't chainroot anyone anymore, so root won't be AS bad as it is now, and as previously mentioned any melee serious about PVP should carry a half-decent bow for such situations.

Noes~~!!! They nerfed Holy Aura!!! :( AoE root isn't so nice when you have to wait on the monsters to be unrooted before you can do it again. T_T

And um....cancel was overpowered, but not even half of what made nukers too strong. It's their nukes and how bsps work. Their dps is compared to only by the other ranged class, archers. Not being able to chain sleep/roots seems kind of ... you know, half assed. The lead developer said once in an interview "I am a soloer myself". Guess what class he plays!! It shouldn't be any wonder if nukers remain overpowered for a lot longer, and ncsoft has never nerfed archers as far as pvp goes. The only real hope is that melee classes get some serious upgrades.

You are not slowed or rooted for a year, and i said that a th would do more damage with a dagger then with a bow, and i did not say that meleeclasses are not allowed to use bows.

In your own words, "And only stupid people who are melee classes use bop in pvp.". You used a TH as an example of a melee class to support that argument.

Thrill fight/cripple/root lasts long enough to make you completely useless on the siege field if you only have a melee weapon. Vicious stance/Frenzy/totems/Warcry/Thrill fight are all skills melee classes have that will benefit them while holding a bow.

I am a 70+HE now. I played tyrant for over a year. I enjoy the archer classes much more.

Well that explains a lot, especially insofar as why mages keep getting boosts every chronicle, soloing becomes easier and easier, and classes that do "support" for mages get all the goodies. :P

I'm surprised mp potions haven't been implemented yet. o.o

And only stupid people who are melee classes use bop in pvp. LOL noob! Tell that to any Destroyer with a BoP, or maybe everytime I UD I will just stand there and Drain rather then get out my BoP and watch my opponent drop. But GG and thanx for the retard input.

well yeah nukers and archers are good in pvp but they are pretty bad in someways... like... say u get jumped by 4 or 5 mobs and say archer is all alone with no buffs, no one around, and of course, he'll die. same goes for the nukers, well yah they can just use sleeping cloud and hit and sleep, but they can't do dat if tehy have no mp. for melee classes, i think they are good for monsters but not for pvp i guess, well DA can take lots of magic hits, and have deflect arrow, but not like me, gladiator but im not pissed cuz i sometimes beat nukers :D u just gotta be a good player ahd have a good stretagy

destroyers still do more damage with weapons they have skills for.
