I have seen tons of FRAPS and other publications related to L2, but let's be frank most of the people out there seem to have 0% photoshop skills. So that's why I will learn you some pimp stuff while I create my sigs for people. I might even be as generous to hand out full psd-files (trust me it's much easier to see how things workout if you have the file, while trying to do some practice work yourself). So this ain't for the people who are already pro (altough those could hang around this topic also for some valuable insights). Basicly it will be for the people who have tried some photoshop but never really did pick it up from there 1st try-outs. So I won't be explaing how tools work, just how I do it. Keep in mind that once you have some skills, you will find your own way how to do certain things, my way isn't the best or quickest - it's just how I do things. I will be working in Photoshop CS3 v10.0, all the brushes and extra will basicly be working fine there. From time to time I will be using a pen tablet ( for the people who don't know what it is, shame on u  ). When I do that people w.o one might feel they can't really create the same effects, well get out and buy one. Trust me it's worth every spent $$ for some serious photoshopping.I guess you now might wonder what this had to do with FRAPS-ing? Well, it will teach you some decent photoshop skills and it will improve your editing/GFX for FRAPS. Just cuz we start out by making sigs doesn't mean you can experiment yourself and add stuff into your FRAPS's by using my methodes. Sooner or later you will improve and have your own pro methodes, until then strap on your seat-belt and prepare to learn some stuff (unless your already are swinging from the treetops with PRO skills). I might add FAQ later on once people starts to ask some questions.

Alrighty then step 1 is pretty basic and keep in mind this is my 1st tutorial so things might be a bit shady and unclear at certain points. Don't feel afraid to give some feedback or ask questions if you don't follow what I have been doing.

Photoshop is useless for movie editing.
This post has no reason to exist... Just say, well i got skill in photoshop u dont, it will be shorter. Or make a movie with better editing than ones we use to watch and then u can open your mouse. |

HAHAOMGLOL I just went out and took care of some IRL-stuff and then chilled out some with GTA IV and this thread is almost pushing 2 pages already. Dang people you must have missed me and my epic threads
 Hmm altough I not 100% sure how to layout out this yet, since some bird did tell me something about that it kinda will become a giant cluster-f@ck with all the diffrent parts. Showing tools and stuff like that will become insanily hard to follow once I get to the tricky parts. So I might change the tutorial to some kind of a production blog instead. Just showing some progress and people can ask questions how certain parts was made. Then I can illustrate those certain areas with more in depth details. W.o the diffrent step-by-step techniques showing I can pump up the resolution so people actually see what's going on, instead of those gimp slides in low-res. So tomorrow we start all over with some new stuff w.o me playing the teacher-card. Altough I might play the L2blah-card. PS I guess my reserved post will be updated for picture updates, since I do smell trouble in this thread and just posting updates in the middle of it will do the info-seekers no good. Just a thought of keeping important stuff in the first 1-2 posts. And I will let you kids have your fun in this thread, as long as you stick by the forum-rules.
