from what i've seen from ac2, it looks just like ac1 to me rly...
you haven't seen enough i guess.
the only problem with with ac1 is that it was repetitive.
this one wont suffer from the same problem. there are tons of new types of missions, mechanics, etc.

is that a problem?
locate guard. jump to rooftop. jam wrist blade into guard's skull.
repeat.

there is no game that can even come close to delivering the experience mw2 does.
if you mean the shitty multiplayer experience by not having dedicated servers or a lan modus, then yeah, i agree.
the SP is quite fun to play, but at times it feels more like watching a movie than playing a game, because just so much of it is scripted.
unless there's a decent multiplayer mod soon that doesn't require shitty steam and has dedicated servers, i dun think it'll stay on my hdd for too long.

I have to say +1.
I didn't liked MW2 solo mode since it's waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too scripted, you don't have the sensation to take part in action except in a really few missions and you can even just go afk while your IA's mates kill enemies...
I won't mention Multi,Azu said it all.
I wasn't really disappointed since I wasn't waiting the game that much.
I even prefer Borderlands that is fun but very repetitive in the long time..
Anyway,March 9th 2010,remember it :P
(also need Mafia II,This is Vegas,Resonance of Fate and MGS Peace Walker).

anyone that is minimally rational will agree
Are you saying no game at all or another FPS game?
If it's just for FPS games then that's that's a matter of opinion on what you like in a SP campaign. There are even other console only shooters whose SP campaign shits all over that of MW2. I'm glad I didn't pay for it.
If you mean any game in any genre then I'm just going to dismiss you as a retard.
MW1's main strength was the multiplayer, something they've fucking destroyed with MW2, on the PC at least so being limited to a max of 9v9 (wtf is this L2???) matchmaking only on shitty peer 2 peer networks is not what I would call a game which no other comes close to offering the same experience that it does. Fuck I'll give you one right now that does at least come close, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it's fucking predecessor.

how can a non FPS game offer a similar experience to that of a FPS? lol
ofc im talking about FPS's and im not talking about multiplayer either.
i was refering to the single player/spec ops (on veteran mode, cause on the lower difficulty settings the game loses alot of its intensity.)
and in that regard very few games come close to it, especially in terms of pacing and spectacularity of the action.
and there is not much space for arguing here.
you may not enjoy it, but mw2's campaign being an amazingly crafted linear fps experience is a consensus among the majority of the people that have a clue about gaming.
ps: oh and yes, obviously mw1 offers a very similar experience. since its the base for this game. they just took it to another level on this one.
+1. I loved the SP of MW2 IMO it was loads better than MW1. As for multiplayer not really had a chance to test it and I have it on PS3, is the PC multiplayer much different?
